Your information is used to respond to your enquiry and administer your S&T membership.
Volunteering enquiries
The form records your name, email, optional telephone number, skills, interests, comments, consent time and the version of this notice. Authorised departmental administrators can review your enquiry. Application details are not published.
Submitting the enquiry gives consent for the department to store these details and contact you about volunteering. It does not sign you up for marketing. A configured email notification contains an application reference and a sign-in instruction, rather than your application details.
Members’ information
Profiles, biographies and profile photographs can be viewed by signed-in members. Member email addresses are available to authorised administrators for account management and are not displayed in the directory. You can update your profile in the members’ area.
Retention & your choices
Enquiries should be reviewed regularly and deleted when no longer needed, normally within 12 months after the enquiry is resolved. You can ask your departmental administrator to correct or remove your enquiry or profile, or withdraw your enquiry consent. The railway’s published privacy notice provides its contact details and further information about your rights.
